Wedding Accessories

At weddings it is traditional for the male members of the bridal party to wear flowers in their button holes. These can be real or artificial. Artificial flowers provide a perfect solution for hay-fever and asthma sufferers and also prove to be a very cost effective alternative to real flowers. Not only that, they last for years!

Bouquets are best handled by a florist, who can tailor make what you want in terms of colour, style, flowers etc. You may want to have a bouquet you can hold, or one that drapes over your arm. Prices vary greatly so make sure you shop around.

Table centre arrangements can really add something special to your tables. You can choose colours to match your wedding colour theme. Bear in mind hay fever sufferers, and its best not to have decorations too tall or your guests will struggle to talk to each other across the table.

A wedding favour is a gift given as gratitude or as a souvenir of the wedding to the wedding guests. Favours are often laid out at each table placing at the wedding breakfast and are traditionally made up of a small gift box containing chocolate or almonds. Favours can come in a variety of interesting boxes, such as shaped as a heart, top hat or decorated with ribbon and glitter.

Other nice touches can be to have balloons around the room, confetti on the tables and you could provide a 'goody bag' for the kids to keep them entertained.
